I’ve decided to start reviewing various establishments that I visit on my trips or in and around my hometown and college town. I think it’s fun to let others know what I thought about certain restaurants and their food, for example, because I’d certainly like to be warned beforehand if a majority of people think everyone else should stay away from a particular place. Who wants to lose money on bad food when you could have saved yourself the trouble by checking out the reviews online, right?
As written on Yelp:
*drool* I love this place. I was so sad when I came to Lubbock to attend Texas Tech and realized there weren’t many good Asian restaurants in town, besides the standard chain restaurants and Chinese takeout places. Then I discovered Seoul and I’m so glad I did!
The prices are pretty good: they’re actually lower than what you would find at a normal Korean restaurant in Dallas, and you still get the same amount of food. I love getting Bulgogi (Korean bbq beef slices), which is about $6.95 for a plate, and most meals come with all the yummy little side dishes, like bean sprouts, kimchi, seaweed, etc. They also have a huge flat panel TV on the wall that plays the latest Korean music videos or soap operas, haha.
The only problem I have is that they’re closed everyday from 3-5pm, and they’re not open on Sundays like the other Asian restaurants in town :( Where am I supposed to get my Korean fix when I get a craving on Sunday?? Other than that, I love stopping by this restaurant once in awhile for a delicious, inexpensive dinner date or lunch.
