I began my first foray into web design June 2001 and have never looked back since. I love web design; it is both a hobby and a passion that I enjoy doing in my spare time. I am a highly paradoxical person and I truly contradict all the stereotypes that people may try to pin on me, which is just the way I like it. It may not always be easy for people to get along with me, or vice versa, but I try my hardest to be friendly. And yes, TL, I will try to give people the benefit of the doubt and have faith. See, I told you, I do listen to what you say.
If I had to sum myself up using one word, it’d be PARADOXICAL. I can be either very quiet or extremely loud, depending on who I’m around, I’m intelligent (and the proud valedictorian of the class of 2007) but I dislike the routine of school (reading endlessly for a subject only to be tested on trivial details is not my idea of attaining knowledge). The only time I enjoy class is when we have thoughtful discussions in class – I love those – but I digress. I’m always telling myself I need to become more social but at the same time I *like* being by myself without having to worry about I say or do around my friends.
My life in a nutshell, I suppose: everyone sees me as one person in public (sometimes not always for the better), but privately I’m a very different person. We all have our facades; some people just hide behind theirs better than others.

1. I have Vietnamese, Chinese, Cambodian, and Laotian blood running through my veins. Asian pride, baby =)
2. I wanted to be a CIA agent after watching Alias and reading Robert Ludlum’s novels, and to this day, I still harbor secret fantasies about this (hmm)
3. I love accessories of all kinds: earrings, bracelets, necklaces, purses, shoes. Take me to Sam Moon and you’ll have to drag me out of the door.
4. I want to be fluent in seven different languages someday (Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, French, Spanish, and Chinese).
5. Even though I’m premed/psychology, my first love will always be writing.
6. Pandas, monkeys, and turtles are my favorite animals.
7. I want to get married on a beach or in a Buddhist temple.
8. I like driving fast. Too bad my Toyota Corolla won’t go past 110mph 
9. I used to think there was a vampire in my bathtub at night and a monster hiding in my closet.
10. Flowers make me giggly and happy: roses, orchids, marigolds, daisies, whatever you give me, I’m probably going to squee and give you a big big hug in return.
11. I’m outwardly cynical and secretly a romantic sap. Edward Cullen, you haunt my dreams :)
12. I’m a junk food addict and harbor an inner fatty. Chips, popcorn, candy of all kinds…drool. They’re stashed everywhere in my apartment.
13. Titanic will always be my favorite movie of all time. Period.
14. I’m terrified of clowns and dolls, especially the ones that have eyes that can blink and move around. That and I’ve read Stephen King’s It too many times. Keep them far, far away from me.
15. I love to sit and poke my two miniature Dachshunds. They’re so incredibly adorable.
16. I’m really one of the laziest people you will ever meet. My ideal day consists of sleeping, eating, and lounging around watching dramas and reading.

Just Vietnamese and Chinese so far, unfortunately. The other languages will have to wait but it’s still my goal to at the very least be trilingual one day =)
