Facade was created on May 07, 2005 as a creative outlet, and was graciously hosted by Colleen of Final-breath.org until February 2008, when she closed her domain =(

Facade was reopened as Illuminaire on March 9, 2008 and is hosted by the lovely Pat of Luved [dot] net =)

Most people see blogs as online diaries or journals. I see them as a wonderful way to keep in touch with friends and let them know what may be going on with my life, or an outlet for musings or creative writing. I may wax philosophical subjects from time to time, or weigh in with my own opinions about current news. From time to time, I may offend or insult visitors with some of my writings; if you are easily offended by certain topics or light cursing, then you can just click on the little “x” in the top right-hand corner of your screen.

My writing serves as a creative outlet for the emotions I couldn’t otherwise express. Words have always fascinated me. The power to create entire worlds simply by putting pen to paper is awe-inspiring, and imagination is a gift that I wholeheartedly love to take advantage of. I especially love drabbles: they give you so much freedom to free-write, to ramble, and to flesh out the little moments that matter so much.

And of course, the categories for my posts (Life, Everything, and the Universe) is a nod to one of my all-time favorite series, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, written by the oh-so-awesome Douglas Adams, who left this world too early and didn’t get a chance to gift us with more snarky and satirical novels.
